In January 2015, BlueWater passed their third consecutive ISO external audit with zero non-conformances and four commendations. The auditor commended BlueWater’s approach to Quality Management System Planning, our continual improvements, revised bid proposal process, exceeding the bid rate win objective, and establishing a tracking of deliverables across all task orders and contracts. This was our final audit against the 2008 standard; planning is underway for the next ISO renewal against the new 9001:2015 standard.
BlueWater was awarded a three-year task order against the GSA Alliant Small Business IDIQ to provide support for base communications that includes network infrastructure operations and support, voice, video and data service delivery, communications focal point operations and reporting, information assurance, and traditional communications support (land mobile radios and giant voice/public address).
BlueWater was awarded a five-year task order against the GSA Alliant Small Business IDIQ to provide worldwide logistical operations associated with the receipt, storage, testing, asset management, staging, shipping, IT service support, and administration required to deploy information technology in support of DISA global operations.
In December 2014, BlueWater was awarded two EAGLE II task orders. The first was for DHS National Cybersecurity & Communications Integration Center (NCCIC) to provide 24/7/365 watch floor support to enhance security, resiliency, and reliability of the nation's infrastructure. The second was for DHS FEMA Office of Public Affairs to provide Web Support and Content Management. Both task orders are for five years and were recompetes of existing BlueWater work, signifying complete customer satisfaction with our past performance and forward approach.
SAIC selected BlueWater as a Protégé based upon BlueWater’s dedication to continual improvement of business practices and highly successfully delivery on 18 EAGLE I task orders. The time and personnel commitment that SAIC invests in BlueWater is expected to pay dividends to our individual companies but more importantly to our clients as our processes are reviewed and refined.
BlueWater is proud to be one of the 43 OASIS-Small Business Pool 1 awardees. OASIS is GSA's vehicle of choice to provide government agencies with total integrated solutions for professional service-based requirements on a global scale. The OASIS contract includes program management, consulting, scientific, logistics, engineering, and financial services. OASIS SB is a small business set-aside contract that provides a streamlined solution for all federal agencies. It is designed to reduce duplication of contracting efforts and to provide agencies with comprehensive, integrated professional services contract options.
BlueWater participated in the Spinal Research Foundation "We've Got Your Back!" 5K on Saturday and donated over $8000.00 for spinal health research. This was the Foundation’s most successful event ever! BlueWater had a spectacular turnout, one that propelled us to take top honors for team participation with 90 participants. That makes four out of the last six years. Many of our team’s runners placed in the top three in various age categories; congratulations! BlueWater Federal was awarded a 5 year prime contract at GSA to provide web coding, design and development services for GSA.gov, the primary intranet “GSA InSite”, the “GSA blog”, m.gsa.gov and several social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram).
BlueWater Federal was awarded a 4 year prime contract at the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), Directorate of Simulation (DOS) providing Live Virtual Constructive Gaming (LVCG) simulation support which includes operations, maintenance, and configuration support for the Army Tactical Command Control Systems and Battle Command Systems.
BlueWater Federal was awarded a 5 year prime contract at the Washington Navy Yard providing project management, infrastructure, and operations services for more than 1M sq. ft. of NAVSEA facilities. Our responsibilities include technical and project management (construction, facility repair, HVAC monitoring, parking), furniture support (design, install, remove), and labor/administrative support.
